   Unbelievable mag for my VEPR 54R! Exceptional quality, super fast shipping, and the only mag for the VEPR 54R in my opinion. You will not be disappointed in any way possible.

   Love it fits amazing very snug and very well built the only thing I will say is the bottom of the mag the edges are basically exposed seems uncomfortable inserting mag I have a habit of hitting bottom of mag to insert wish the bottom had a floor plate or rubber pad but since no need to smack bottom of the mag this is me being picky very wellade next will be one for the vepr 12

   Because I couldn't give it 6.
   
   I've had my eye on these mags for quite a while and I finally found the money to buy two. I knew they would be good but damn... While there were extensive fitting instruction included mine locked in tight, maybe too tight for some but rather than doing some filing I'm going to leave them as they are and in time they will release with a little less pressure on the release tab.
   
   When they are locked in place there is absolutely no movement, none, ziltch, nada...it's like they are spot welded in place.
   
   There are 10,000 different mags available for AK-47s and for the Vepr 7.62x54r there are only two, SGM and these but it doesn't matter. This is the only 10 round mag you'll need. Of course I'd like to see a 15 or 20 round versions but for now, these get the job done.
   
   Well worth the price. Great job CSS Specs!

4. If you have a VEPR 7.62x54 you need these magazines!

   I purchased three of the 7.62x54 VEPR magazines and they arrived yesterday. The processing/shipping time was phenomenally fast. Upon initial examination I found that the finish was outstanding they appeared to be excellent quality. I inserted each magazine into the rifle and found that they fit perfectly without any modifications. I purchased the fitting file but it was not needed.
   
   I proceeded to the range today and put 30 rounds through each magazine utilizing Russian light ball. All three functioned flawlessly. I was frustrated with the SGM magazines which I just couldn't get to function properly in my rifle. I performed the simple bolt modification as outlined on this site but the SGM's still wouldn't work. The Csspec magazines are a game-changer and I am definitely going to purchase at least three more.

5. Vper 7.62 x 54 Magazine

   Solid mag, fits snug as it should.. but be sure to oil the moving parts so it can operate correctly and once done.. operation is smooth. Very glad I ordered these.

6. Best 54r mags on the market

   Ordered two of these, since I already had quite a few of the .308 Vepr mags that have served me well. I was expecting to have to do some minor fitting to get them in the rifle, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that both mags fit perfectly and flawlessly fed inert rounds that I cycled through manually. These mags are solidly built, and compared to other polymer aftermarket 10-rounders, they’re actually smaller (3/4 inch shorter in length), which allows me to actually shoot from the prone without struggling to keep the mag base off the ground. Very pleased.

7. Great Magazine!

   This Mag is built like a tank. I was worried about having to file a brand new magazine especially one as expensive as this but they fit in my gun a little tight but still fine. My only complaint and it's not anything I didn't know already from looking at the pictures, the floor plate of the magazine. I wish it could have been more like an ar or ak floorplate. Great magazine I ordered 6 and all were great came packaged very well these are only about $10 more than the plastic mags out there. Magazines are expensive for this gun but all you guys complaining about price should go buy plastic mags somewhere else. Save ten dollars and get an inferior product. I have both metal and plastic this is far superior for ten extra bucks I'll take it! I hope you get the kinks out of the 15rd mags I would love to get a couple. Thanks for making such a great mag.

    Received as described. Look to be made of high quality. I haven't fired the weapon yet because of surgery but I can't wait to. They even sent a speed loader to assist. I am going to use it to make others.
