   You've got a Saiga 308? Like, cool, man. It's basically an AK that shoots .308! How awesome is that?
   
   Unlike an AK, your magazine options for more than 10 rounds are limited. If you want a mag that functions reliably, Csspecs magazines are the ONLY option.
   
   Mine required some filing of the locking lug, and that's OK. I didn't need to remove much material at all. I've put hundreds of rounds downrange with these mags without a malfunction.
   
   I'd like to suggest an unfinished version or a Cerakote finish option for future buyers as an improvement but the standard finish works fine.

2. Saiga .308 20 round steel magazines

4. Great magazines, not perfect though

   Overall I am satisfied with these magazines. I did initially have some issues with the first 3 magazines I ordered, but I was able to fix them and now each magazine works 100%.
   
   I think the followers were getting caught on burrs inside the magazine, which was causing the followers to get stuck in the body past a certain point and not allow the magazines to feed ammo in to the rifle.
   
   No issues with the 2nd batch of 3 I ordered, they seem to be clean of burrs and all have been functioning 100% in my Saiga 308-1.
   
   Take note that I didn't contact CSSPECS for a return/swap of the magazines. I'm sure that they would swap magazines without hesitation but I decided to see if I could figure out what was wrong myself as I hate waiting for returns and replacements in general.
   
   Csspecs:
   Any chance you could give me the location that the burrs inside the magazines on the first three? I would like to figure out what caused them so that going forward they don't happen again. Photos would be nice.

5. Perfection

   These mags are a work of art! No sloppy construction here, this is precision manufacturing. Perfect fit with my rifle, tight lockup, no wobble. Packaged in protective treated paper for anti-rust, further sealed in plastic bag, very well padded in shipping box to prevent damage. Shipping: fast, in my hands in just a few days.

   I traded up from Surefires for my Saiga 308. These steel mags both look much better and function better.

   Seemed to have a minimal break in period, but feeds flawlessly after the spring/follower got a short workout. Feeding a heavily modified SBR with zero issues. Looks rad too:

8. Solid and revised

   After comparing these with a pair of Gen 1 Saiga 20rnd mags. They are almost half the weight and lock up just as good. Seem to have a better follower and coating. Would definitely recommend these to anyone with a Saiga 308.

   Definitely worth it! Fit and finish is A+, didn’t have to fit it to the gun, it clicked right in. Fired 60 rounds and no hang ups! Compared to other saiga 308 magazines this one tops them all.
