1. Excellent quality mag

2. Perfect fit, perfect function

   I bought this rifle to be a project. My only disappointment was the wretched excuse for a magazine that had come with it. Like everyone else I searched high and low for the correct magazines. I had the rear trunnion replaced, and had the cut filled in with the appropriate metal. It looks great with the proper furniture, and even better yet with a Nodak Spud "Tabuk" style flash hider. With these magazines I now have more than the required number of Made in the USA parts. The best part is that the magazines function without a single flaw. The next step now is to send the weapon to WMD for nitromet processing of the receiver and barrel, inside and out. Thank you guys!

3. Update on Previous Review

   I've had the rifle out to the range 3 times now and was able to use all 3 mags I bought. First of all, I was pleased that I didn't need to modify anything as the mags fit perfectly without any issues. Any function issues I had were attributed to the crappy surplus Indian ammo I was using. 400 rounds in total, including some old handloads and 6 other brands of ammo, everything fed flawlessly from the mags. I am waiting on the 10 rounders now, plus will pick up a couple more 20's. CSSPECS rocks!

   The mags, two of them, functioned very well. One had been stored loaded with 20 rds since I received them, the other stored empty.

5. functions great

   Finally got a chance to get to the range. Was already pleased with the fit, but based on some reviews was concerned when firing.
   Needless to say, was very pleased. Tried all types of ammo- cheap Russian, Cor-Lokt, reloads and premium hunting ammo. No problems.

6. Worth the wait & the price.

   For the uninitiated, I can appreciate their apprehension about dropping $41.50 on a new magazine. While $41.50 per mag seems high, by the time you figure in R&D costs, tooling set-up, marketing, shipping & handling of bulk material, logistics on finished product, legalities, etc... the $41.50 is actually quite a fair price, especially for the extreme quality.
   I ordered three and hope to acquire four more from the second batch. The three I did order arrived quickly and excellently packed/protected. I experienced zero fitment issues - perfect 'plug n' play'. They ate and fed FMJ, HP, and SP flawlessly; regardless of whether steel, bi, or brass cased.
   Kudos to CSSPECS for bringing this mag to market.

   We have only fired about 40 rounds thru the magazine; so far so good. They are much more robust than the stock mags and anyodified m14 mag we have Used. See review video at https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=KYy5TVfjXi8

9. very sturdy excellent magazines

   I read the reviews before I revived my (2) magazines, so I was expecting to have to do some fitting. When I tried the first mag it didn't fall into place so I observed where I thought I would gave to grind away a little steel. Did so and the mag fit and locked right in nicely. Before doing anything to the second one I put a little effort into inserting it and it went in and locked without any modification at all. I suspect had I not had the preconceived notion that I was going to have to modify, they both would have worked from the beginning. They both slip in and hold nicely until the release liver is depressed.
