HKG3 mags cost $2 and are light and perfect. These mags are good, cost over $40 and have to be filed and fitted and weigh a ton. Luckily, they are otherwise good reliable and robust mags after lots of testing, fitting and filing. Four out of the five I bought fell out of the magwell after each shot like Jack Black in Mars Attacks. #3 took care of this. Once I filed on the right place the mags were perfect. 4 stars out of 5 for the reasons noted above. I will definately buy more and would recommend them to anyone with a warning.

I received my 4 20rd mags within a few days of ordering and was impressed with the quality of the packaging upon arrival. Upon looking at the enclosed invoice with the caption fitting instructions on back I became a little apprehensive. But when I unwrapped the 1st mag and removed it from its plastic bag I was delighted to find it rocked and locked right into my M77 rifle. And the other 3 mags did just as well easily locking into my .308 Zastava rifle.
I loaded all four mags with Tula .308 steel cased ammo and found the rounds went onto the magazines with about the amount of pressure I would have thought would be required for a .308 mag. I then proceeded to manually cycle the rounds through my M77 and found they loaded and ejected 100% of the time which really pleased me.
As many of you can attest to the 10rd mags originally supplied with these rifles sucked. It was about 2 days later me and my son were able to get these mags out to my buddies range and start putting bullets into berm. The first 2 mags clicked into the rifle and ran through all 20 rounds of the Tula .308 fodder without the slightest issue.
But upon loading the 3rd mag into my rifle and firing the 1st round the mag fell to the ground. ( This was something Csspecs had forewarned me of in a responding email in that I should be sure the mags were fully locked in ) I proceeded to put the mag back into my rifle and load the chamber but upon firing the mag again fell to the dirt. This same issue arose with the 4th mag and I started getting worried that this would be a real problem.
But here is what I tried and it seemed to resolve the falling out issue 100%. I rocked the mag into my rifle just as before but this time I firmly tapped the bottom of the mag with the heel of my palm before loading the next round. Having done this I lifted the rifle to my shoulder, fired a round and was pleased to find the mag stayed in place. And the mag continued to remain in the mag well as I fired the next 19rds downrange.
I tried this same method with the other problem mag and was delighted to find that it too ran through all 20rds without falling from my rifle. So by simply slapping the base of the magazines with the heel of my palm after loading it into the rifle the mags ran 100%.
I know this is a lengthy review but I have had a long and frustrating time trying other mags from 20rd M-14 type mags that had to be modified and only worked so-so to a more successful experiment with 15rd Saiga mags that also needed some modification to fit my M77.
So now after a long wait I have four 20rd mags that load into my M77 .308 rifle with ease and chamber 100% of the time. And by just being sure to hit the bottom of the mag with the heel of my palm these magazines will stay put and not fall out.
The only other slight issue I have noticed with these mags is that the paint or finish seems to be thin on some areas of the mags. But I am still giving these mags 5 stars because in the past months that I have owned this M77 rifle I have had many a .308 round ruined from ill-fitting mags that would not chamber the round and that gets expensive. These new Csspecs mags have not damaged or failed to chamber any of the over 200rds of .308/7.62x51 ammo I have ran through them and that is awesome.
My thanks to the folks at Csspecs for bringing to M77 owners a quality 20rd mag that works like it should.

The stock Zastava magazines are junk. These are what a battle rifle magazine should be.

I'm very happy with the magazines. While expensive, they are worth it as they are super well made of very beefy steel. I have 2 of the M77's and both had to be modified as shown in the video, because the mag well and latch are not cut square. This took about 2 minutes. I wouldn't change the design of the magazine, and I would think new M77's will be cut square to fit these mags.

I bought a total of 7 and all were wrapped and packaged perfectly, like another reviewer said, I almost didn't want to open them! So they were very well packaged. They look great! I did notice slight uneven bluing on some but it doesn't bother me and is hard to tell anyways its not an issue at all. These mags are built very well, they are very solid heavy duty mags, much better than I expected, they are very easy to disassemble, as I did to clean and lube each one. They fit like a glove, not too tight but nice and snug with no wiggle, they fit better than the factory mag which wiggles a little and never fed right so I am thankful to finally have these! They feed all 20 rounds perfectly, I had zero issues! I was just about to sell the rifle too until I saw these were coming out, definitely worth the wait, I absolutely love my rifle now, definitely a keeper now! Thank you Csspecs!!!!!
