Got my mags in excellent condition and exceptional packaging. Test fit in my M77ps and fit was tight and effortless. No fitting issues. Would recommend this mag to all that have a M77ps.

Hi all,
My issue was #3 in the fitting guide. I filed the angles on both sides, went to the range and the same thing. Rear part of mag falling out after each shot.
I went home and filed down more of it til it fits almost the factory mag.
I went to the range again, fired 20 rds of Turkish Walmart 762x51, and no issues.
It fired with any jams or mags falling out.
Let me tell you it brought a huge grin on my face. All the folks at the range were impressed. Range officer came and checked out the 20 rds of 762x51. I walked out in triumphantly.
My recommendation: Get the mags now. If not order it. I love these mags. Buy with confidence now. I am a believer.
thanks

Ordered the minute they came out. Very satisfied. These things are very well built and worth the money. I had to file all three that I ordered like they show you on #3. Filed a little and kept trying to fit them until it snapped into place. I'm not by any means a gunsmith so if I can do it, you can too. Went to the range today and had no issues at all. I used steel ammo and ZQI 7.62. Im very happy with the purchase. Well done Csspecs!

Ok, wiped them down inside and out, and back to range, changed ammo and same issue. Changed gas setting and works great with ALL ammo tried (steel and brass). Ended up on setting 3.
Thanks Csspecs... will be buying more when available!

I have been looking forward to the development of these for six months. Ordered them first the night , got them in two days. The mags are build great, and work flawlessly.

Hi all,
I love the mags. You can see and feel quality.
With that said, i don't know whether it is the mag or my M77. After loading one round and firing it, the back part of the magazine would just fall out. This happened after each shot.
I bought 5 mags so I opened the second one. And it happened again. I didn't test the other 3 mags since I wasn't sure whether this is the mag or the M77 rifle.
Do others have this issue?
I don't have this issue with the factory mag.
What is the next step for me? Return, refund, try all mags or what?
thanks
Csspecs:
Fitting guide was printed on the back of your packing slip. You will want to reference #3 on the sheet..

When I first tried these mags they fit great but fell out after each shot. Wasn't sure if my issue was #2 or #3 on the instruction sheet. After confirming it was #3 I filed a bit of metal from the rear tag and they now fit and function perfect. Gotta get more from the next batch! Thank Csspecs, you made my M77 and I very happy.

Placed my order for 5 mags on Thur, they shipped on Sat, and I received them on Mon. They were individually wrapped in such a superb manner that I hated to open them. However, I needed to check them for functionality and I am very pleased. All 5 mags lockup very snuggly in my M77 and there is hardly any play. Their manufacture tolerances are so close that there is just enough leeway to insert and extract the mag from the magazine well, and virtually no allowance for the usual mag misalignment that is found on most AKs. The mag spring is very robust and the follower does not bind or tilt. Also, the follower is not designed with a bolt-stop feature. The bluing is nice and dark, although some of my mags exhibited a few spots where the bluing had thinned. I think this was caused by leaching from the oil in the preservative paper they were wrapped-in. Regardless, a light coat of CLP will take care of those minor trouble spots.
I am very happy with this purchase. They are the best quality mags in my collection, and they far surpass the 10 rnd Zastava mag that came with my rifle in terms of the material used, tolerances held, and overall fit and finish. I think Csspecs could teach the Yugoslavs some lessons on how to manufacture a quality product.

As the rest of the reviews, I was waiting, not so patiently. I received them quickly and they were packaged exceeding well. Unwrapped and noticed a few rough spots on the finish (hardly noticeable)Overall build looks amazing. Fit was tight and no wobble.
Gave them a wipe down and loaded the steel cased Herters (from Cabela's) and off to the range and... both of the magazines had feed issues. Every 2-3 rounds the bolt would completely miss the follow on round or would only go half way forward and the that round would be stuck at a 45 degree angle. Pull back on the bolt half an inch and release and all goes into battery. Don't have the same issue with the modified M14 mag I have been using with same ammo. Update to follow after more rounds down range and with other ammo. Also will try to disassemble and check for issues.
Overall, well built. I think it is a break-in issue. Anyone else have this issue?
Csspecs:
We think it my not be fully cycling.. Its possible that switching to a higher gas setting my eliminate the issue completely. Or possibly switching to batch of rounds.
