This magazine worked great out of the package. Nice tight fit but not too tight to require filing. The quality is just excellent, I don't see any part of this magazine every wearing out, just the finish and even that is solid.

I received two of your 10 round magazines about a month ago! I finally had a chance to try the new CSSPECS Metal Mags. I did not have to do any fitting! They both functioned perfectly in My Saiga 12. Thanks for producing such a great product. Have a great Day! Jon

This 10 round magazine fit my early version Saiga12 shotgun without filing or modification. After one practice 3Gun range session and several mag reloads the mag is running smooth , lockers in without issue. You can get 11 rounds in this mag with a little effort. Loading on a closed bolt even with 10 rounds requires paractice and technique which I have not yet mastered, but it can be done. --Must push up on the mag first, which drives the rounds and spring down, then you can lock the front tab in and rock and and lock.
The only complaint I might have is that the edges of the feed lips are a bit sharpe, and you need to be mindful when loading shells that you don't cut your fingers. Perhaps a small bit of filing or dremel is in order.
Extremely sturdy and dependable so far. Would recommend to a freind.

I bought this mag to try out in the Chinese JTS shotgun , I have a saiga shoty also . In The Book supplied with the JTS gun it states a saiga mag will work . The JTS uses lug at front and back of magazine . Locks up with back lug . the ccpecs mag locks up , but drags on the bolt , just enough to cause a little problem . Mag works but not perfectly ,. mag has alot of side to side play .. the factory JTS mag fits snug . polished bolt today , will do more testing , . It is deer season , I hunt here ,Only have 10 acres . Will let you know .

These magazines are well made and fit my saiga 12 without any modification or adjustments. Heavy and durable and feeds both 2&3/4 000 and 3" 000 magnum shells flawlessly. Worth the buy for durability!

2nd purchase. Tried one if each of the 8 round and 10 rounds magazines before they went out of stock months ago. They both seated into my saiga and locked up tight with no fitting. Absolutely no issues at the range with FTF or FTE hangups. They were and continue to be "just perfect". Bonus is, they will outlast any polymer mag you have by years. These babies are not fragile.
Had to buy more when they came back into stock. I'm one happy customer.

When the cost of the absolute garbage poly mags is 50 bucks + shipping and these absolutely amazing mags are only 15 bucks more I'll choose these every time. Instructions say fitting may be required but this mag dropped in perfect, cycles perfect and looks perfect. These are solid! Great job guys!
Hint * steel drum mags! Steel drum mags!

I was a little skeptical about spending $60 bucks on a magazine but after searching endlessly for a replacement for my failed polymer junk mag that came with my Saiga 12, I decided... what the heck. Best... purchase ... ever!
Instructions said it might need minor fitting, none needed. This sucker locked in perfect. It was a tad snug at first but after inserting it and removing it a few times it was gold. No feed issues and zero wobble. So impressed by the quality of this magazine I'm definitely going to buy a few more. Great job guys. Absolutely love this magazine.
Now, ... How about a 20 or 25 round drum?

Adding Csspecs steel mags to the Saiga 12 Gauge makes the gun a much more realistic long term sustainable shooting platform and adds field reliability to an already powerful tool.
A MUST have for this platform, hands down.
