  1. Better than nothing 3 Star Review

Posted by on 29th Nov 2025

Ordered two of these magazines, they do fit and function, kinda of...
Both magazines I received are sloppy loose in the mag well and sit too low to feed properly. That said, gripping the stock at the magazine (thus lifting it slightly) or resting the riffle/magazine on a bag while bench shooting, they both feed quite well.
These magazines are better than nothing, but frankly they are significantly out of spec compared to the originals.

    Csspecs:
It's possible that you have an earlier version of the rifle. More likely the magazine well screws and there is dried grease in the slots of the receiver. This is a fairly common problem.
Since these rifles are surplus and have been circulating among hobbyist gunsmiths for the last 30 years. There is not a great way to say exactly what is going on without some photos of the inner parts of the rifle and the original magazines.

We have been selling these magazines for almost 10 years and have sold thousands of them. The most common complaint is that they are tight.. The next most common is that they are loose.. But they are all within about 0.005" of each other. The rifles have some variations.

Was really thinking a magazine might not exist.
    Fit like a glove.
    Now it’s salable.
    Thank You!

  5. excellent parts for older rifle 5 Star Review

Posted by on 3rd Jul 2025

I purchased a replacement magazine for my everyday plinker. The rifle works and shoots excellently, but the magazine which came with it slipped its footing and the follower was lost. I ordered a replacement magazine which arrived within 2 weeks and fits excellently. 200 rounds later and no mishap.

Very well made after market magazine. Excellent fit in the mag well. Feeds better than the original factory M69 magazines I have. Thank you for a great product.

  8. Great Replacement Magazine 5 Star Review

Posted by on 2nd Aug 2024

I purchased 2 magazines for my Romanian M1969 (22LR) and took them to the range with my rifle. They worked flawlessly. I probably put 100 rounds through them. The 5th round is just a bit challenging to insert into the magazine, but the tool supplied with the magazine makes it a breeze.

  9. Feeds reliably and the nitride finish is solid. 5 Star Review

I own a Taiwan made magazine with my 1969 trainer, and this magazine fits my rifle better. It feeds good, and the finish is nice. I'm quite satisfied with it.

  10. Decent replacement 5 Star Review

Posted by on 7th Nov 2023

The old magazine on my m1969 the plate was loose and was not holding the spring in this one seems to do the job rather well I would recommend it for any 1969 Romanian 22 works well these rifles are kind of quirky anyway but they are accurate if you can put up with a little misfeed here and there
