These magazines are awesome. After minor fitting, they lock in quite easily. Thick stamped steel, you can tell they scream quality. If you run out of shells, these mags are so well built you can beat someone to death with them!!

This mag performs flawlessly. Dependable enough for home defense. Only the best will do in that role. Built like military grade. A little fitting required, But worth it. Locks up tight.

I bought three of these and they are great, yes I did have to fit them but it was easy and only took a few minutes. They worked flawlessly when I took them out. Way better alternative than the plastic junk out there.

Great magazines! While it does take 3 seconds longer to install into the gun, It stays in just as tight as the OEM polymer mags.. If I dropped the shotgun with the polymer mag the weight of the gun is likely to breakt the magazine. If the same happened to the metal, It would likely get dented to which i could take apart and straighten with pliers!

Shot my brand new Vepr-12 for the very first time this weekend. Tried it twice but shells failed to load into chamber and mag fell out with the shot. Factory 5- round mag did fine. Have not filed down the top edges of the mag per guidelines yet, therefore 3- stars instead of 1. Seemed well-made however, and I believe it will function just fine after some filing
Csspecs: Normally if the magazine is falling out it won't load the next round.. It needs fitting, which is why the instructions came in the box.
Your factory five round magazine was matched to your shotgun at the factory.

This is my second purchase of magazines for the Vepr 12. These needed much less material removed for fitting than the first three. These are so much tougher and economical than the factory mags.

You do need to spend a few minutes fitting them to your gun, took me about 5 minutes to do 2 of them. now they click right in and fall right out. build quality is great. soon as the 10 or 12 rounder come out I will be getting some.

I installed a competition aluminum flared magazine well on my Vepr 12. It took me about 30 minutes to get my 2 magazines to fit and lockup properly with this setup on my Vepr 12. Upon firing I had a little issue with one magazine dropping the floor plate which a replacement was sent out(great customer service)As I continued testing these magazines I had a problem with both magazines falling out a couple times per 8 rounds, but now they fall out after each shot. I am not sure what is going on but I have an original magazine, and an aftermarket magazine that doesn't have this issue. I understand that Csspecs have not tested these magazines with the metal magazine well but these don't seem to work for me.

Vary happy. Vary minor filing and perfect fit.

These mags are tough and work great. You may need to file the locking tab to get the desired lock unlock. But, at the end of the day they perform.
