Fine quality craftsmanship in a steel magazine.
Yes. You have to fit these mags to the individual VEPR12. And that is to your benefit. Instructions are included to perform the fitment. Takes about 5 to 10 minutes if you're being careful and mindful. The result is a magazine that fits as well as you'd like it to.

I'm in the process of doing a Saiga 12 build for my you tube channel Kelteclover. So far these are top notch mags. Judging from what I see they are as good or better than factory mags. Mine took very little fitting and they run flawlessly. I only have one complaint and it's the same as the rest of the reviews and that's the pinch weld on the back is a little sharp and needs to me smoothed or covered with some door edge guard. When compared to the price of the competition these are comparable and a much better value than genuine Russian mags. All in all very happy and will be buying some more as soon as I can.

I received my magazine very quickly, and I was impressed by the quality of the packaging. The bags for the magazine would probably last as long as the magazine, for sure. The magazine itself was fantastic, and only required minor fitting. It functions flawlessly and feels much better than polymer mags. A word of advice: be sure to use oil on the follower occasionally to avoid rust, as hulls tend to scrape off the finish. Great product overall!

Received my magazines with lightning fast shipping. EXCELLENT Quality. Very minor fitting required so the mag catch would seat. Super easy to do for a guy that's not very handy. Functions superbly. I like the size and durability MUCH better than SGM mags that have worked for me in the past. Buy with confidence.

Have several of these. Never failed. Runs smooth as silk. Will last the life of the gun in the most adverse conditions. Just as good as factory mags, but a bit heavier. Well worth it.

I just bought 2 CSSpec metal mags for my Saiga 12. I love them. Each of them took about 5-10 minutes of minor file work to fit properly, but instructions made it simple. They are solid and so much stronger than the plastic factory mag. I will probably get at least a couple more.

Cravat: I have not been to the range yet, However these mags are of incredible build quality and finish. Also CSSpecs is incredible in their service. These move the Saiga 12 into the realm of a legitimate defensive weapon like the rest of its AK brethren.
I am a very satisified customer.

Very high quality

Mags work great. Plastic mags seem cheap, these steel mags make the shotgun seem more legitimate. Remind me of factory HK91 quality, maybe better. My Saiga runs like crazy on Walmart Federal 100 pak.
The mags did not require much filing. I was a bit apprehensive at first, but now I fully understand the desired result and it is actually very easy. Good instructions and a YouTube video were very helpful.
I got five of these for the Saiga, but I just found out about the Vepr and I want!! I guess I'll have to order a pile of those too!

Plastic is cheap and easy, but do you really? want to bet your life on it? Unlike the plastic ones on the market now,you won't have to pretend, rationalize or lie to convince yourself that your mags are "real deal". These are solid, well built professionally designed and executed magazines in a market niche devoid of such. If you dared to dream of HK quality in your Saiga mags, these are the ones. Pricey but worth it. Forget Mag failures. Some significant metal removal but really simple filing/fitting required for my gun. Rock solid lock up achieved first time no problem. As said prior to my small review- "I simply would not change a thing!"
