This is a 3D printed part based on laser scans of three rifles, some variation rifle to rifle can exist.

The parts also vary slightly in finish and texture.

Polyurethane isn't rubber, it's halfway between plastic and rubber. It's a firm material, roughly like a shoe sole.

Naturally there is not a significant amount of recoil from a .22lr.. BUT having a grippy buttpad is slightly nicer because the stock stays anchored better, and it doesn't slide if set on a hard surface.
