10 round capacity for the MK II bolt action by savage. Also fits Lakefield Mark II rifles since they are basically the same.
Does NOT fit the Savage 62 64. If you think it might fit a rifle not listed above please ask BEFORE ordering.
Finish is molten salt nitride over carbon steel, with a stainless follower.
These magazines are fully laser cut, and are welded instead of crimped together.
View holes at 3,5,10.
Magazine feed will be slightly sticky the first couple uses.
We recommend inserting the magazine on an open bolt (as stated in rifles owners manual).

Very good magazine for MKII

Both 10rd and 20rd magazines work very well in the beginning and even better after a few reloads. Would definitely recommend these over other magazines. I had a little trouble with shipping, but these guys will to out of there way to make things right with there customers. Thanks Again!

Finally someone made a better replacement magazine for the venerable savage MKII

Long awaited aftermarket magazine for the MKII . These magazines will require some breaking in for sure, very stiff at about rd 7 or 8 , so plan on using the loading tool at first. But after 1/2 dozen loading cycles they won’t require the tool anymore, at least in my experience. I bought 10 and I can load them all without a tool now. Thank you CSSPEC for making a quality fix for such a popular gun . All of mine function perfectly. These are made way way way better than the stock ones.

After some fitting these magazines worked well. Will be ordering more. They fed the ammo without a flaw in my rifle. Would recommend these to my friends.

Vast improvement over factory mags

Love the accuracy of my Mark II 22lr but the factory magazines are terrible. CSSPECS provides the solution. These are the high quality magazines that should accompany this rifle. Even better, they were in stock at a reasonable price with fast shipping even during the pandemic. I’m thoroughly impressed.
