Product Description
Notice: Finish is now Black Oxide instead of Nitride.
Magazines are smoother to load and cycle but are less corrosion resistant. Wipe with oil rag after use.
A free stainless steel loading tool is included with each order.

10 round capacity for the MK II bolt action by savage. Also fits Lakefield Mark II rifles since they are basically the same.
Does NOT fit the Savage 62 64. If you think it might fit a rifle not listed above please ask BEFORE ordering.
Finish is Black Oxide over carbon steel, with a stainless follower.
These magazines are fully laser cut, and are welded instead of crimped together.
View holes at 3,5,10.
Magazine feed will be slightly sticky the first couple uses.
We recommend inserting the magazine on an open bolt (as stated in rifles owners manual).

Better than OEM

After seeing dozens of reviews online before I even took possession of my Mk2 G, I ordered 2 of these. Wonderfully built,fed well. I actually had feed issues with the OEM mag at the range. My only complaint is I couldn't successfully fit 10 rounds in one of the magazines, but I did take apart that one so ??
Csspecs:
If you took the magazine apart, you need to make sure the top of the spring is sitting flat against the follower. You can check by pushing the follower down slightly with the loading tool and looking through the witness holes in the side.

I ordered the 10 rd. version for my new Savage MK II and I'm very happy with it. They're very well made, much better than the Savage factory mags. The included loading tool is a nice bonus. Fast shipping too! I'll be ordering some more of these.

This is my second time purchasing these magazines, they are the best magazines for the Savage MK II I've came across. They are much better than the factory magazine that comes with the rifle.

Much much better than OEM mags. Built like OEM should be. Be aware of sharp edges, use Jewelers file to 'de-burr' the edges then Good to Go! Thanks CSSPEC for your excellent product!

Works So Much Better Than The Factory Mags

This magazine is everything I wanted it to be. Mainly, the rounds don't fly out of it when you tap it on something, like the OEM magazines do. Fit and finish looks great, and the included loader is very smartly designed. Really nice product, I'll likely be buying more magazines if this gets me to take my MKII to the range more often.

I haven't yet been able to use the 2 magazines because my rifle is in another country. There were a couple of glitches and customer service was timely and got the issues promptly taken care of.
Flying home tomorrow to see how well they work.
