10 round capacity for the MK II bolt action by savage. Also fits Lakefield Mark II rifles since they are basically the same.

Does NOT fit the Savage 62 64. If you think it might fit a rifle not listed above please ask BEFORE ordering.

Finish is molten salt nitride over carbon steel, with a stainless follower.

These magazines are fully laser cut, and are welded instead of crimped together.

Magazine feed will be slightly sticky the first couple uses.

We recommend inserting the magazine on an open bolt (as stated in rifles owners manual).

  1. Finally mags that work ! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 27th Mar 2024

Wasn’t shooting the good old Mk II mostly because of feeding issues with both OEM and aftermarket magazines. When I received your mags I noticed the high quality of materials and construction. And I have had 100% feeding! One note is that when you insert the mag have the bolt open and gently push the top round down before closing the bolt. Thanks for completely changing the shooting experience from frustration to satisfaction!!!!

  2. works beter than OEM 5 Star Review

OEM mags for this gun are a no go. Both mine went in the trash. I got two of these, perfect so far (about 500 rounds).

  5. Mk11 10 rd 4 Star Review

Seems well made, no problem loading with out tool. Last three rounds are a bit hard but not to bad. Does have a bit of play, but hasn't caused a problem

  6. They just plain work! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 25th Jan 2024

Got tired of all ten rounds flying out all at once, with the Savage factory mark 2 magazines. 22lr PRS matches can be real embarassing picking up your rounds outa the grass. Was real close to going out and buying a new setup for matches, despite the repercussions. Glad I found CSSPECS! They saw the need for a relable magazine for the Mark 2,Theyjust work! feeds reliably and gets better the more it breaks in. Makes a budget priced gun action feed like a more pricey one. just get one! you'll want more, and be back in love with an old friend.(the rifle that is.)

  7. Great magazine for FVSR 5 Star Review

Perfect results with Savage FVSR, in a Boyd’s stock, with DIP bottom metal. I left the factory magazine in the box, these are far superior. Loading tool works very well

  8. Solid well built, but loose in a MK II 3 Star Review

Posted by on 28th Nov 2023

I own four 10 round and two 15 round CSS mags. They have a lot of forward play, to the point it can cause feeding issues if any pressure is placed on them. OEM mags do not have this issues and fit solid in my rifle. I shot NRL22 and this has caused me several issues during matches that involve bag rest shooting off barricades. My mag release is tight and cannot be moved forward anymore due to the mag well. But, even with this issue, these mags are way better than OEM Savage mags. Mags that can and will come apart after a few range trips.

  9. Very solid, but do not lock in solid like OEM mags 3 Star Review

Posted by on 26th Nov 2023

    Hello,
These are very durable. Much better than Savage MK II mags. However, once locked in, they have enough play that can cause feeding issues. I currently own four 10 round and two 15 round mags. I'm happy for the solid construction, just with the fit better. During an NRL22 match I had a few stages that required me to us a bag on support. And, yes I know not to push the mag hard for any type of support. But just the mag touch the bag would cause it to move rearward, causing a loading issue. Again, very solid, just not a solid fit in my MK II in a Boyds At One stock. OEM mags lock up solid, but come apart after 150 to 200 rounds, if your lucky!

  10. 22LR 10 round magazine. 5 Star Review

Posted by on 25th Nov 2023

These Csspecs 10 round mags, 5 ordered came quickly and efficiently. Packaged individually and are oiled and ready to. Loaded them up 10 rds each and the loading keys are very helpful. Very nice quality.
    Thank you.
