Product Description

One free loading tool included with each order.. Comes folded into packing slip.

Video on how to use loading tool HERE

These are in stock.

20 round capacity for the MK II bolt action by savage. Also fits Lakefield Mark II rifles since they are basically the same.

These magazines are fully laser cut, and are welded instead of crimped together.

View holes at 3,5,10,15 and 20.

Please note we suggest a break in process as shown in video below. Magazine feed will be slightly sticky the first couple uses.

Please note that some longer bullet profiles result in stiff loading and sluggish feeding as the added length prevents them from stacking correctly.

Here is a sample of bullets we have on hand. Both the ones indicated with the arrows did feed, however it is difficult to load to 20 rounds.

Rimfire magazines are restricted in many cases just like centerfire.

20 round mag for Savage MK II .22lr rifle. (03:46)
Update 5-6-20, these are done and available for purchase at csspecs.com These should be done around March of 2020. We will most likely also have magazines for Remington 511, Remington Nylon 77/mohawk 10c. Remington 541/581 and possibly CZ 452 as well. Video has been compressed to reduce bandwidth, lighting was not great anyway (27mb vs 540 mb). So a little pixelation may be visible.

  2. 20 round magazine for Savage II 5 Star Review

Posted by on 6th Jan 2021

I'm really glad to find these magazines. They fit good and appear to be constructed much better than the Savage mags. I got two and have filled them about a dozed times each. The more you use them the easier they are to load. The videos gave me a heads up about how to do the break-in. I expect these will last a lot longer than the factory ones.

  3. 20 round magazine 5 Star Review

Good magazine were they good spring. Well made only change I would make would be to smooth the edges. It comes with a tool to help load magazine which is very helpful.

  4. Awesome Mags 5 Star Review

Posted by on 26th Dec 2020

I called and spoke with Mike a few weeks back. I had questions regarding these mags. Very polite and answered all of my questions. I ordered two twenty round mags. They are more sturdy than the OEM mags. Awesome product and employee.

  5. 20 round magazine for my Lakefield Mark 11 5 Star Review

Posted by on 18th Dec 2020

As long as the directions are followed it works great.
I noticed that with a loaded magazine it wouldn't fit in the rifle unless the bolt is open. So much for 20 plus 1. A savage magazine with 10 rounds will fit with a closed bolt. A great magazine with increased capacity. I might buy another but have to think about it because I have 3 ten round magazines.

  6. Check your state legislature first 5 Star Review

Posted by on 17th Dec 2020

Quality product, sturdier than stock mag for sure. Just wish capacity restrictions weren’t a thing, definitely check your states laws before ordering but that is no fault of this company.

  7. Doesn't work 1 Star Review

Posted by on 12th Dec 2020

Csspecs writing, original review below: So the original review was held because first magazine was likely damaged in shipping, and could not be loaded past 7 rounds. Before shipping the replacement it was retested on gauges and was loaded and dry cycled with dummy ammo, lockup was tested on two rifles and found to be within correct range, the magazine was double packaged and resent just to be sure the customer got a perfectly working product.. But it doesn't fit his rifle and we can't currently figure out why. He did say the magazine loads ammo fine. We are still working this fitment issue but we can't replicate it on our rifles and I can't find any rifles around that the magazines don't fit. Customer was given a prepaid return label for returning the magazine, just has to drop in a mailbox, and will be given a full refund once the magazine arrives.

    (original review)
Unfortunately I was only able to load 7 rounds consistently. I loaded the same magazine several times thinking it may need to just "break in" but I finally gave up. I'd recommend just purchasing the factory 10 round magazines. Even with 7 rounds it wouldnt feed reliably, and it wouldnt lock into place without the bolt in the open position. Also lots of sharp and rough edges on this magazine. Great idea, but this product needs lots of work still as it doesn't work as advertised.

  8. Great fit 4 Star Review

Posted by on 4th Dec 2020

These mags seem to be a better quality than the stock one.Takes a while to figure out how to load with the tool, but it works great with the loading tool.My only complaint is the sharpness of the edges on the mag and seems like the factory could round them off a little better.

  9. Nice product, fits same as OEM magazine. 4 Star Review

Posted by on 1st Dec 2020

Overall a good product as an upgrade/replacement magazine. My only issues are that the edges are pretty sharp and loading more than 15 rounds by hand is a chore. I expect over time once the spring gets some wear it will become easier, but right now 15 rounds seems to be about all I can get in w/o using a loader.

  10. Quality Made Magazine 5 Star Review

Posted by on 22nd Nov 2020

Thoroughly pleased with the quality of the product thus far. Hard to load until after you break it in but seems to be quality made.
