15 round capacity for the MK II bolt action by savage. Also fits Lakefield Mark II rifles since they are basically the same.
Does NOT fit the Savage 62 64. If you think it might fit a rifle not listed above please ask BEFORE ordering.
These magazines are fully laser cut, and are welded instead of crimped together.
View holes at 3,5,10, and 15
Finish is Nitride over Carbon steel, follower is stainless steel.
Please note we suggest a break in process as shown in video below. Magazine feed will be slightly sticky the first couple uses.
Magazine should be inserted with the open bolt.
Please note that some longer bullet profiles result in stiff loading and sluggish feeding as the added length prevents them from stacking correctly.
Here is a sample of bullets we have on hand. Both the ones indicated with the arrows did feed, however it is difficult to load to 15 rounds.
Rimfire magazines are restricted in many cases just like centerfire.

It is a very solid magazine that comes in sizes (15, 20) that no one else makes, let me say that again sizes no one else makes. I spent months searching for a 15 round mag. csspec products did not come up in any Google search BTW, hear about it from someone at a match who found csspec on a forum. So the fact that these exists is amazing. Using them for NRL22. So far so good.
They are a bit tighter to load, but don't be stupid follow the instructions and watch the video. The loading tool is excellent, buy an extra when you place the order, you don't what to loose it. And yes you need it to fully load the mag (cost of doing business).
Rough edges wear down after some use, Savage metal mags also have sharp edges at first, actually cut myself on a new factory Savage mag recently.
The metal follower does not hold the last round quite as well as the plastic ones seem to do, but overall a very minor complaint.
These are welded. So hopefully wont suffer the same fate as the factory mags where the 2 halves of the factory mag start to come loose and it just ejects the rounds out of the top.
Very satisfied with the 2 I bought, very grateful that someone is actually making these.

5 stars for company and their service, 4 stars for product. Shipped fast and is high quality. Little loose once seated but that is inherent to Savage design. Spring is stout, need supplied tool to load more than 12 rounds. It’s perfect for those 12+ round stages. Will buy another as gift for friend

The magazine worked fine. The only problem was the sharp edges. I took some electrical shrink wrap and a heat gun and solved that problem. If you have one of these try this shrink wrap fix.

I like it, that simple. It fits a little loose in my magazine well but that doesn't seem to have an issue with it feeding through my rifle. to me that is all that really matters. also, the little mag spring compression tool is a great idea and I have no complaints with it.

Purchased 3 15rd mags for a mark ii and received them rather quickly. Mags looked very well built, good finish and appear to be better than the savage mags. Mags are VERY stiff and rough the first few times of use. This DID NOT affect the performance of any of the three mags. Please note: csspecs has a break in procedure, look for it on their site and follow it. If u do the mags work very well. One thing I do not like is how loose they feel when locked into the rifle, BUT as stated above they have functioned flawlessly.

I received them and haven’t had a change to use them yet. I called in to ask some questions and CSSpecs was great to answer them. The quality looks great. I think they are better than the OEM ones. You can break them down to clean them

I got 3 of the 15 round mags as they were out of the 20 round mags. These mags snap in place first time and every time. If you break them in per instructions. You’ll not have any problems. The loader is a great tool even on the factory mags. I like the fact you can Take them apart to clean them. The fact they are w welded is what makes them great. While I have not had a problem with my factory mag. It seems a lot of others have. The customer service is great. All my orders have shipped next day after ordering. Keep up the good work Csspecs.

I had an issue with a magazine and they were quick to respond to my email and address it.
