15 round capacity for the MK II bolt action by savage. Also fits Lakefield Mark II rifles since they are basically the same.
Does NOT fit the Savage 62 64. If you think it might fit a rifle not listed above please ask BEFORE ordering.
These magazines are fully laser cut, and are welded instead of crimped together.
View holes at 3,5,10, and 15
Finish is Nitride over Carbon steel, follower is stainless steel.
Please note we suggest a break in process as shown in video below. Magazine feed will be slightly sticky the first couple uses.
Magazine should be inserted with the open bolt.
Please note that some longer bullet profiles result in stiff loading and sluggish feeding as the added length prevents them from stacking correctly.
Here is a sample of bullets we have on hand. Both the ones indicated with the arrows did feed, however it is difficult to load to 15 rounds.
Rimfire magazines are restricted in many cases just like centerfire.

THIS IS A MUST HAVE!!!!!

These are a must have for your bolt action rifle!!! I have a Boyd’s tacticool stock and a bipod on the lowest setting and these fit perfectly!!! They do not hit the ground or table. I loaded them up with coco ammo and pushed them in about a hundred times to break them in and I have never had a feed issue yet!

Got this to address the lack of capacity of the supplied 5 round that was the only one even available from the manufacturer. Only got the 15 round because the 20 round was currently unavailable. Good product. Will buy the 20 round when it comes available.

Best mags for the mk2

When I bought my mk2 in 17hm2. I came across a you tube posting for these mags in the 20 round version. I ordered 2 of them and followed the break in process. I intended to get a couple more 20 round mags but had to wait a month or so. I went back to get them and they were out. I ordered 3 of the 15’s instead. They all fit and function better than the factory 10 rounder. Csspecks. Let’s get the 20’s back up. If your looking for more rounds or just a better mag. Get the csspecks mags. They won’t disappoint. Steve

GREAT MAGS

I bought a new Savage Mk2 22LR. The factory 10rd magazine was nothing but junk. If I put more than 6 rds in it it would not feed the bullets into the bore hole. The bullets would nose dive hitting the barrel below the bore hole stopping the Rd from feeding! I bought a new Savage brand 10rd mag from Bass Pro and it did the same thing. My son sent me a link to Cesspecs and I ordered their 15 Rd mag.
Cesspecs mag saved the day! It has a mag spring much stronger than the Savage mag!
Also the Cesspecs mag can be taken apart for cleaning, the Savage mag cannot be taken apart. Also the feed ramp on the Cesspecs mag rises upward all the way, while the Savage ramp rises upward only half way and then angles downward. I don't know why Savage would let a junk mag like that get out their factory door! I was very angry with my new gun that wouldn't function!
My Cesspecs 15 Rd mag functions perfectly!
I had a chat with a savage employee about all this.
He took my comments down and said he would send it to the head CEO!
I have always bragged on Savage guns but they truly dropped the ball on the Mk 2 mags!
Hope Savage addresses this issue ASAP!
I am confident that they will.
I told the Savage man that Savage should contract with Cesspecs in the mean time to fix this problem. Savage could order a quantity of Cesspecs mags to send out to everyone who has the problems I had.
THAT WOULD RESTORE SAVAGE'S REPUTATION before bad press spreads through the gun forums.

Mk II clips

Very satisfied, purchased the 20rd clip, had to by the 15rd this time, because they were out of stock of the 20's, just waiting until there back. They were prompt, they both work great!
Keeping my grand kids outside, teaching them gun & hunter safety. upmost import tradition in our family. And keeping them off that damn phone & computer.

Received these mags and put them right to work. Construction of these is superior to the stock magazines.
