20 round capacity for the MK II bolt action by savage. Also fits Lakefield Mark II rifles since they are basically the same.
Does NOT fit the Savage 62 64. If you think it might fit a rifle not listed above please ask BEFORE ordering.
These magazines are fully laser cut, and are welded instead of crimped together.
View holes at 3,5,10,15 and 20.
Magazine is Carbon steel with a molten salt nitride finish, stainless steel follower.
Please note we suggest a break in process as shown in video below. Magazine feed will be slightly sticky the first couple uses.
Ammo selection:
Please note that some longer bullet profiles result in stiff loading and sluggish feeding as the added length causes binding in the magazine.
Here is a sample of bullets we have on hand. Both the ones indicated with the arrows did feed, however it is difficult to load to 20 rounds.
Some ammo will only work loaded to 10 or 15 rounds. If you use the correct loadings, the magazines load easily.
Interestly many bulk pack loadings cycle very well.
Rimfire magazines are restricted in many cases just like centerfire.

I've had problems getting my Savage to feed form the factory 10 round mags. If I load about 7 in them, they work fine. OTherwise it just jams up and causes huge frustration. Decided to take a gamble on these and see if we had a winner...and WE HAVE A WINNER! Fed flawlessly. Be sure and follow the break-in instructions and don't get discouraged loading that first magazine full. You will not be disappointed once you are running them in your gun. I had been wavering on selling the Mark II (which is a tack driver) in favor of a Ruger Precision Rimfire due to magazine issues, but now that isn't happening. Gonna sell the Ruger instead. Thank you CSSpecs for a really good product. Solved my problem. I'll be buying a coupe more from you.
