  1. Finally, an American company that can compete with the Russians! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 5th Oct 2018

Heard so many reviews bragging on the quality of CSSpec magazines and figured I’d give them a try. I was not disappointed in the slightest! They fit right into my Vepr 12 without any modification and ran flawlessly. It’s about time an American company can finally make a product as good, or in CSSpec’s case, better than the actual Russians. Will be back for more, you’ve sold me on your products!

  2. The mag Molot should have made 5 Star Review

Posted by on 8th Sep 2018

The design and workmanship, Molot could envy. Every good thing all the other reviewers have written is true. It's a beast, like the Vepr. To all at Csspecs, thank you. The quality of your work tells much about you. To all of you who buy, thank you. You get it.

  3. 100% steel!! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 28th Aug 2018

This is the most overbuilt magazine I have ever seen. 100% steel! Feed lips and all. I ordered three of these and thought I would have to file on them to work; however, to my pleasant surprise, they worked flawlessly in my primary Vepr.My backup was a little more finicky but workable so I left them in original factory condition. They came from the factory well packaged too, nice attention to detail. Thanks a bunch!!

  4. Excellent 5 Star Review

Qaulity fit finish and function on these magazines is flawless. Thanks for making a great product right here in the United States of America.

  5. Look no further, these are the mags for your Vepr 12 5 Star Review

Posted by on 7th Jul 2018

These magazines are very heavy duty and built like tanks. They are a good alternative to buying the Molot Vepr 12 Magazines which cost nearly twice as much.

  6. good deal 5 Star Review

Posted by on 2nd Jul 2018

this is a lot better than the poly.you got to file it to get the magazine a custom fit.check as you file, don't over do it because you can't put back what you have taken off.its worth the file.metal is like the old magazine we had in the army, back in the day.my vepr 12 is happy.

  7. Best mag ever 5 Star Review

Posted by on 28th Jun 2018

Mags work great , no fitting required.

  8. Fitment def needed, but fit and finish is awesome. 5 Star Review

Posted by on 28th May 2018

My (2) mags needed fitment to fit. Both needed near identical fitment. I assume this is from firearm to firearm variation.

That said, my Molot Mags fit freely and require no rock-in. They also eject and drop freely.

But I like the idea of a steel magazine, made to fit, that is a little more snug. If I was using this firearm for 3-Gun or similar, I would probably have filed more off. However, as it is, they both fit snug, require a small rocking motion to lock (but can be rocked with 2 fingers easily), and I would rather err to not filing enough than overfiling and having a mag that falls out on recoil.

This is the most affordable and durable variant for 10 round magazines for this weapon. Overall happy with purchase. Wish they did not need filed to fit, but if you do it right, you have a nice tight fitment on a durable magazine.

Order these, take a couple hours, and file away while you watch TV or listen to music.

Best option there is for a VEPR 12. Best size as well. The only drum option is WAYYY to large. The competitors mags suck. And the factory Russian stuff is too expensive.

  9. Best mags for your vepr 12 5 Star Review

Posted by on 23rd May 2018

The plastic after market ones are junk. The molot originals are good but too expensive. The CSSPECS mags are the best I've used so far. I tested 3 of them at the range yesterday and no problems. The only catch is you have to do some minor fitting with a file to use them but it's well worth it. Definitely watch the video instead of just using the paper instructions. These are very well made mags and I plan to buy a few more. Thanks CSS!

  10. Goodbye rotomolded garbage - Hello engineered metal goodness 5 Star Review

Perfect fit - no filing required on the two mags I purchased.
No FTF issues whatsoever so far.
