While I haven't gotten the receiver (KS47) completely switched over yet (9x39) they are feeding much better in the AR platform than with the AR pattern mags I was using. At the very least the mags don't swell out when loading them like they did in the 7.62x39 and the grendel AR mags. I was about to tear it down, sell the barrel and build another caliber. Hopeful...

So, I can't thank Csspecs enough, for creating magazines that would make otherwise boring or inaccessible firearms (Vepr 6.5 Grendel, 9X39 AK's, etc.) something that I can actually shoot! I would have NEVER bought a 6.5 grendel VEPR, or, in this case, build a 9X39 AK, or AR that takes AK mags, if it weren't for the intrepid Csspecs, building mags no one else will, or has! I've heard that it takes a huge amount of development to make a reliable magazine, a reason that many "new" firearms, copy existing magazine designs. So thanks for developing this for enthusiasts, shooters, etc. Thank you!

Not sure how Mario A got his to work out of the box in his KS-47, but the 4 I bought needed some filing or grinding on the front sides of the front mag support to fit into the mag well. Keep ion mind these were not designed for the KS-47 but for the Krebs AK's which in those they probably work great.
Once you file or grind these down to fit they work great in my KS-47 with the 9x39 round. I bought the 30 rnd mags and they fit 30 rnds very well.

Saw an early production at my gunsmith. Looked at him. "We build of off this." this magazine was the first part. Bought two RRA receiver sets and started from there.
Couldn't be happier, works well, and all magazines I've gotten from Csspecs work well.

With some filing work it will fit in the RRA LAR-47 lowers. It also fits inside the matching upper and the BCG clears the feed lips.
The magazines themselves are very well made, and the packaging it was delivered in was topnotch as well.

THE 9X39 MAGAZINES HAVE A VERY STURDY AND SOLID FEEL. I HAVE NOT USE AS OF YET BUT ARE BUILT WITH A TANK TYPE APPROACH.LOVE THE LOOK AND FEEL

Purchased one of these for a 9x39mm KS-47 build, and it works fantastically. Only issue I've had is that the feed lips are a little rough and scratch up the brass something fierce.
Also, be sure to avoid dropping the magazine. I was playing around with flicking the mag out of my gun empty onto carpet, and the base plate popped out when the mag hit the ground and the magazine innards evacuated post haste. Fortunately, I was indoors and didn't lose anything.
Otherwise, great magazine and I need to get more! I hope these give a boost to the 9x39mm market in the USA!
