If used for a 9x39 AK build, please be aware that the receiver and trunnion need to be slightly pocketed for clearance.
The front of the magazine is wider than a normal AK magazine.
We now install the springs for AR patterns with AK magazine wells in ALL 9x39 magazines.
They slightly increase loading pressure, but otherwise do not seem to cause any issues with AK builds
If used with AR rifles with AK magazine wells some adjusting of the magazine spring length may be needed.
We will supply extra springs at request at no charge.
Please email with your order and add a note in order comments.
Magazine is all steel construction, with a black nitride finish.
Weight of empty magazine is 5.4 ounces.
Magazine has full capacity view holes on each side.
Floor plate is marked USA, magazine counts as 3 US made parts for 922r compliance.

Ordered these for a g1 ks47 knowing they would require removal of a bit of material on the receiver to fit.
Once that was complete I then found that the feed lips are too low to feed properly with an ar style bolt.
This is an issue I also experienced with croatian mags when running 7.62x39.
Upon bending/raising the feed lips up high enough to feed properly I found they are just barely holding the cartridges in the magazine.
I'm still certain I can make these work ok but they are far from perfect.
I emailed csspecs several weeks ago with my concerns and request for higher feed lips and have not had any response.
Csspecs: We did email you, check your spam box.. The magazine feed lips are not too low, the lock up points on your rifle are too low, its happening on multiple types of magazine. Also there is a different spring that can be used in the magazines that slightly changes the feed angle.
My understanding is that the newer 7.62x39 ks47 brought the magazines higher in the receiver, so they likely realized there was an issue with their original placement.

I used a KS47 lower to build an 'AR' 9x39. Since the 9x39 mag is wider at the front the lower required some minor clearancing to allow the mags to insert. Mags now snap in, feed great and function great.
