10 round capacity for the MK II bolt action by savage. Also fits Lakefield Mark II rifles since they are basically the same.
Does NOT fit the Savage 62 64. If you think it might fit a rifle not listed above please ask BEFORE ordering.
Finish is molten salt nitride over carbon steel, with a stainless follower.
These magazines are fully laser cut, and are welded instead of crimped together.
View holes at 3,5,10.
Magazine feed will be slightly sticky the first couple uses.
We recommend inserting the magazine on an open bolt (as stated in rifles owners manual).

These mags are much better than factory mags. Take the time to break them in and you won’t have any feeding issues at all. Built to last and a fair price.

These should outlive me. Being cut from steel and welded, they are superior to the factory ones. The only issue is they are 'sharp', might consider a wet sand or even tumble to lessen a little.
That said, 100% best Mark ii mag!

I really like this magazine way more than the one that comes with the savage mark ii. it hold the ammo in unlike the savage, which shoots your ammo out. The only issue i've had with this magazine is that the spring will get stuck sometimes and i have to hit the magazine to release the spring. Other than that, it's great and will continue to use it and advocate for csspec

G.T.G. This is good and maybe the best aftermarket Mag that I found available.

Do not hesitate to get these magazines. The price is so close to the cost of a factory magazine, but 5 times the quality. When I received them I broke them down and cleaned the factory oil off. Then I sprayed the inside of the magazine with silicone spray, let it dry and reassembled them. No break in at all. No sticking, loaded and fed perfectly. The factory magazines are junk and definitely the Achilles heal of the Mark II. I will definitely be ordering more. Thank you CSSPECS.

Works of if you only have 8 rounds in there. With 9 and for sure 10 it won’t feed. Atleast it doesn’t come apart and spit all the rounds out like the factory ones.
Csspecs:
Please see the detailed video on break in process. Additionally a small amount of grease on the inside of the magazine helps with break in.

These magazines are great!!! They are so much better than the original equipment. The oem magazines from Savage would spit unfired rounds out of the top. These run flawlessly.

Don’t hesitate to buy these magazine for the savage mark 2. After buying these magazine, I don’t have no more mis-feeding. I was very irritated by the oem savage magazine that wouldn’t allow me to reload the next round in to the chamber. With these CSSPECS mag I was able to load and eject every round through my rifle without mid-feeding 10 times. Finally I can trust my mark 2 again for small game hunting. Thanks csspecs for a great product.

savage 22lr stock magazines fall apart sometimes so I am going to give this mag a try ..looks like it will hold together better ..The sharp corners and edges are a little concerning though ..can not wait to try it.

The OEM mags tend to spread apart when the crimping wears out. These do not do that. However you need to spend some time with a file to round off the corners on these in order for them to feed smoothly, otherwise they hang up on the corners.
