10 round capacity for the MK II bolt action by savage. Also fits Lakefield Mark II rifles since they are basically the same.
Does NOT fit the Savage 62 64. If you think it might fit a rifle not listed above please ask BEFORE ordering.
Finish is molten salt nitride over carbon steel, with a stainless follower.
These magazines are fully laser cut, and are welded instead of crimped together.
View holes at 3,5,10.
Magazine feed will be slightly sticky the first couple uses.
We recommend inserting the magazine on an open bolt (as stated in rifles owners manual).

Perfect results with Savage FVSR, in a Boyd’s stock, with DIP bottom metal. I left the factory magazine in the box, these are far superior. Loading tool works very well

I own four 10 round and two 15 round CSS mags. They have a lot of forward play, to the point it can cause feeding issues if any pressure is placed on them. OEM mags do not have this issues and fit solid in my rifle. I shot NRL22 and this has caused me several issues during matches that involve bag rest shooting off barricades. My mag release is tight and cannot be moved forward anymore due to the mag well. But, even with this issue, these mags are way better than OEM Savage mags. Mags that can and will come apart after a few range trips.

Hello,
These are very durable. Much better than Savage MK II mags. However, once locked in, they have enough play that can cause feeding issues. I currently own four 10 round and two 15 round mags. I'm happy for the solid construction, just with the fit better. During an NRL22 match I had a few stages that required me to us a bag on support. And, yes I know not to push the mag hard for any type of support. But just the mag touch the bag would cause it to move rearward, causing a loading issue. Again, very solid, just not a solid fit in my MK II in a Boyds At One stock. OEM mags lock up solid, but come apart after 150 to 200 rounds, if your lucky!

These Csspecs 10 round mags, 5 ordered came quickly and efficiently. Packaged individually and are oiled and ready to. Loaded them up 10 rds each and the loading keys are very helpful. Very nice quality.
Thank you.

I use hollow points, the factory mag wouldn't load without scaring. Your does. Its a good product at a reasonable price. Something you don't see much anymore. I thank you for a well built product, and speedy shipping.

The magazines appear to be well built. I mistakenly ordered the wrong mags thinking they were for a 22WMR. Upon receiving them, I knew I made the mistake and reached out asking if I could return them and haven't heard a thing from anyone at CSS. 2 Stars due to horrible customer service and not return contact. Make sure you order the correct mags and don't expect any customer service!
Csspecs:
This was dealt with and the return was started.

Bought a Savage Mark II FV-SR to plink with kids but the stock mag made it nothing but frustrating. Rounds were difficult to load. On the rare occasion that they stayed in long enough to insert the magazine, feed problems were constant. Finally, I found CSspecs! Loading and cycling the rifle are now effortless. I saw some previous comments stating that the mags were sticky until broken in, but we had no such problems…everything worked great on first try. Thanks for making my rifle fun to shoot again.

Well made, solid. Functioned reliably for me. Liked the metal follower. Reminds me of 40 year old Marlin magazines.

My rifle was a $300 singleshot until I received these. The clip would dump its load in the well.
The extraction issue remains with no reply from Savage.
I wish you'd market extractors too!
Csspecs:
I'd suggest cleaning the chamber with carburetor cleaner. And checking that the extractor moves freely with spring tension, it takes very little debris to foul the extractor, also check that the extractor grips an empty case.

Hands down what you need if your having trouble with the factory mag. Works flawlessly. Definitely recommend.
