1. One of three mags received damaged

   One of the three mags I ordered was damaged on receipt. I will be sending pictures and a request for a replacement mag via separate email. The other two required a large amount if fit work to permit them to engage in the well.

   Very well made and far superior to other aftermarket magazines. Only minor filing was required to get the proper fit for my Vepr 12. Rounds feds properly using 2 3/4 and 3 inch shells. Very happy with my purchase.

   I got 2 of these magazines. I tried filing as was suggested but wound up using a hand grinder to get fitment just right. They make a Vepr 12 look like it should. A real eye-catcher.

4. magazines are most badass

   Look great in the gun, feed reliably and are as durable as the gun it feeds shells into. Required very little filing to allow an easy insertion, nothing that can't be taken care of by a standard metal file in a few minutes, a 10 round version would be even better. Quite pricey, but understandable due to its quality and the fact its the only type of its kind in the market, overall the best magazine available and actually a bargain when compared to $99 russian 8 round mags.

5. Where are the COUPLERS?

   I will not order more until I am able to cinch them together. Very disappointed that they are not making couplers for these magazines. Do you hear me CSSPECS? Help us out here. Anyone else want to chime in, please do. Dad wants CSSPEC Vepr 12 Couplers and TEN round magazines for Christmas. These 8 rounds are better than my 10 round OEM magazines. ....These dummies don't know that for $59.00 bucks it's like they are selling gold at the cost for silver....

6. Better than the OEM mag

   just ordered 4 of these mags, they're solid and built like a tank. Had to fit every mag to my gun, but that is more of an issue with izmash and molot having crazy tolerance variants than anything that could be solved by csspecs. Mags had a brief break in period of about 16 shells that would have problems and since then they've run flawlessly. Put over 250 rounds through one of the mags and havent had a single issue since the first 16 rounds, bolt has locked open every time. Its good to see a mag that is made on par with original steel russian AK mags, and even better that they are made in the US and are half the price of a comparable OEM mag

7. Feeds great, fits...ehhhhh...

   First off, these are spectacular quality mags. They feel every bit as sturdy as combloc steel AK mags! My only previous experiences with the V12 were the stock Molot 5 rd mag and an ill-advised SGM, which not only had minor fitment issues but horrific feeding problems. The CSSpecs, however, feed like a champ. Where the SGM nosed the cartridge down too low, causing them to stick out of battery, these fed at the same angle as the Molot, meaning a proper feed every time.
   
   The one bother, however, is the tolerances to which the guns are built. While the AK may be a bit more forgiving with mags due to the integral receiver feed ramp, the V12 seems more dependent on the magazine, itself, making the rest of the tolerances more important. I've fitted the mags as well as I dare, for nearly $60/each, but they still require a hefty rearward/upward pull to get them to lock in. HEFTY.
   
   All that said, they function flawlessly in my gun and I am looking forward to 10 and 12 rd versions!

8. worth every penny

   I ordered 4 magazines and couldn't be happier. Very sturdy and great AMERICAN quality. I really didn't have to file much. It was very easy. Don't be hesitant. Will buy more in the future.

   Definately worth it even though I had to do a little filing to make them fit. They fit nicer than the factory plastic mags do now and they function perfectly. I will definately be buying more of these mags in the near future.

    Got 2 from 1st batch / small amount of file work/gr8 fit and function but for occasional rim of shell catching bho.Just got 2 from 2nd batch tonite /took a lot more work with the file to get them to lock in place/ only put 8rounds thru each one (game loads ) rapidly/BHO didn't work for me while shooting, but would with a empty magazine and a slower racking of the action.BHO would work for me on the 1st magazine batch 2nd magazine batch will have to see /more shooting when there is day light I am thinking.The BHO would not work for me with the SGM mags I have ,so even if the BHO won't work on these for me I still like the steel magazine better.Looking forward to the 10 -12 rounders if or when they come out .Kudos too Csspecs.
